Assisted voluntary sales seminar in association with Shelter. CML figures showed that in the third quarter of 2011, there were 27,300 loans with arrears of more than 10% of the outstanding balance. Given the lack of viable options for borrowers in deep arrears, firms now need to reflect on whether and to what extent assisted voluntary sales (AVS) should comprise part of their toolkit. This half day seminar brings together experts to shed light on the challenges, risks and potential benefits to consumers and firms alike. This seminar will be chaired by Dave Delooze, ddl Consulting, former chair of CML Arrears and Possessions Panel. Location: Central London venue TBC. Seminar time: 1300hrs - 1700hrs.
