I completely agree with Mr Banks
But surely their should be much more info coming from the FSA as they are supposed to be the watch dog to the consume and there for should be making the warnings to those Mortgage owners and the public in general on TV in the press and radio, people just hide away from “what may happen” instead of “this will happen”

I was just wondering how this scheme will work on affordability. We normally take any other debts into account with how much we can lend a customer? surely this will just disadvantage the buyer in the long run

Great news for the mutual movement and hopefully a further strengthening of the Yorkshire's position as a credible "top flight" lender.
I'm sure that such a quality lender will be well able to cope with thel "change strain" that so many acquisitions might have.

National law firm TLT LLP was the first law firm both to identify the benefit of, and to obtain, a global substitution order. TLT was recognised by the Financial Times in its Innovative Lawyers report 2009 for developing the Global Substitution Order process to assist mortgage lenders involved in the transfer of mortgage portfolios (http://rankings.ft.com/innovativelawyers/financial-services-2009). TLT has extensive experience of reducing both the risk and costs faced by mortgage lenders by using the Global Substitution Order.
